Our New Family Portrait

The past 11 days have been filled with snuggling, cuddling, precious smiles, and sweet baby smells, taking in our new baby girl, Eliza Grace. I’m trying hard to really soak up these moments because they seem to pass so quickly. So, of course, I have been taking lots of photos.

But for this occasion, I called on my dear friend and photographer, Selena, of Selena J. Photography, to capture us, our new little family of 4! So, thanks to Selena for these priceless images that I will treasure my whole life.

These pictures are adorable! Congrats! Enjoy your new little bundle!! Beautiful family!!

Look Who turned 4!

My neice, a 4-year-old…really? Already?

She’s got personality, style, and flare. She loves to dance and sing. She loves playing dress-up and getting her fingernails painted {you did notice they match her outfit, right?}. Her favorite color is pink {bet you would have never guessed}, and she loves cotton candy ice cream.

Doesn’t she look so grown up in these black and white images?

Aww, Mother and daughter:)

{And doesn’t my sister rock the faux-hawk?!}

Oh, to be 4!:)

Love you, Livi!

It’s Happened

I’m back! I’ve been absent from my business life and blogging schedule for a couple of weeks, BUT let me explain.

It’s happened. I can finally say my baby girl will be arriving next month! So, the turning of the calendar has sent me into severe ‘nesting’ mode. I’ve been cleaning out, re-organizing, re-arranging, and totally redoing some rooms in the house. Sometimes nesting behavior has been described as irrational (and I know an 8-month pregnant woman should not be climbing 6-foot ladders washing windows and tearing down wall paper), but I would like to think of my behaviors lately as uber productive.:)

My latest nesting project in the master bathroom. Here it was a couple of days ago (severely 70s and screaming for renovation)…

Can’t wait to show you the transformation!

And, let me just say, I have the most wonderful, supportive husband, who is happily helping and embracing my crazy spontaneous ‘honey-do’ lists!
